St. Mary's Primary School, Clymping is a co-educational day school for pupils aged five to eleven years. We are a small village school situated in a rural setting just off the main A259 coastal road between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis. St. Mary's is a Church of England (Aided) School seeking actively to develop the existing links between ourselves and St. Mary's Church, Clymping. We have 99 children on the roll.
The school has a large wind turbine in the school grounds to generate electricity for our school and to make a contribution to the National Grid. As a result of this we all are very aware of our impact on the environment around us.
The school has recently been awarded Silver Eco status. Some of the children are involved with an eco-action team in school that meets regularly to discuss new eco-projects. |
