Residentials

At the beginning of each September we take all of our children from Years 5 and 6 on a residential trip.  These residential trips take place at either the Cobnor Activity Centre or Goodwood, both of which are close to Chichester.  The children have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities at either venue and these can include raft building, bat walks, rock climbing, mountain biking, orienteering and a range of team games.  The children stay over two nights in dormitories in small groups and are supervised at all times by both staff at the centres and our teachers and other school staff.  The children gain some tremendously important new skills from this experience and the residentials have proved to be very enjoyable for all of the children and staff who take part.  The residential trip does involve a cost to the parents however it is the schools policy not to exclude pupils from such activities on the grounds of inability to pay.
