St Mary's, Clymping
Church of England Primary School
General Information

St. Mary's Primary School, Clymping is a co-educational day school for pupils aged five to eleven years. We are a small village school situated in a rural setting just off the main A259 coastal road between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis. St. Mary's is a Church of England (Aided) School seeking actively to develop the existing links between ourselves and St. Mary's Church, Clymping. We currently have 99 pupils on roll.

St Mary’s is an Eco-friendly school and we have achieved Silver Eco-School status. We were the first school in West Sussex to have a wind turbine and our pupil led Eco-Action team with members from every year group is very active.

We have flourishing growing areas, a newly planted orchard and an awareness of all things green. It is our policy to recycle as much as possible and to encourage walking to school and car sharing.

Any Problems

Please come in and see us. It is the local authority's expectation that the majority of problems will be dealt with informally by discussion with teachers or the headteacher. In accordance with national regulations, the Local Education Authority has formal procedures to deal with any problems which cannot be sorted out at this informal stage. A copy of such details is available from the school.
