Payment for the second half of term will be due once we return after the half term break. Please speak to Mrs Robinson in the first instance regarding payments for lessons or if you anticipate any problems. Cheques are payable to: CLYMPING ST MARY’S SCHOOL FUND SPECIAL GOLDEN TIME Thursday 27TH June You are all invited to join us at the village hall from 2pm to join in the fun and games and you may wish to bring a picnic to share with your children from 3pm after the activities. All children should be collected from the village hall on that day, They will not need bookbags and should bring their lunch in a disposable bag. If you are able to help walk the children across then we will be leaving school at 1.45pm Sponsored Fun Run TOTAL RAISED so far….£ 433.22 – if you still have sponsorship money to hand in then please do so by the end of the week with the sponsorship form if possible – well done to everybody! BRUSHATHON – TUESDAY 8TH JUNE We have organised for our school to run a Brushathon on Tuesday 8th June which you should have had a letter about. Please ensure that you child brings in their toothbrush in a small plastic bag – something like a sandwich bag. This is a fun event but will raise awareness on dental hygiene and the importance of regular brushing. Please make sure that the permission slips for this event are back by Thursday 27th – thank you. KS2 Trip to Ford Recycling Plant This was an enjoyable and interesting visit to this local recycling plant and the children gained a great deal of information. The children behaved extremely well and were all very sensible when walking to or from the recycling plant. Thank you to those parents who helped on the day with this trip. Scholastic Summer Book Sale All children should have had a copy of the latest Scholastic Book Offers. If you would like to purchase from this promotion then please return your order together with your cheque made payable to ‘Scholastic Book Club’ and return this to the school office by 25th June. Thank you. Sainsburys Active Kids Vouchers Although this promotion will finish in stores on 8th June we will still be collecting these up until the first week in July so please keep bringing them in. Thank you Bags to School The next collection has been booked for 17th June so if you have good quality, clean clothings, bedding, curtains that you no longer need you will be able to donate these to this fundraising event in the bags that have been given out this week. If you do not need the bag then please return it to the office so we have some spares if needed. Please bring your full bags to school on the morning of the collection and leave them in the ‘bus stop’ as we are not able to store them in school beforehand. SCHOOL JUMPERS Now that the warmer weather is finally here the children are often taking off their school jumpers – please could parents make sure that these are named or renamed and just check if any other items need renaming as many of the names in jumpers have faded away and risk being lost A pair of swimming trunks – unnamed – are missing – we have searched around but have not found them – please could you check to see if you have picked these up by mistake – thank you And finally … have a great half term week and we will see you back at school on 8th June with your toothbrushes! Please make sure you return any sold tickets and money or unsold tickets to the school office at the earliest opportunity – and if you would like more tickets then please ask! COMING SOON….
