For homework this half-term, it is our expectation that you continue to read for 20 minutes 4 times a week a minimum, and record this in your reading record book.  We shall be launching a reader of the week competition to help promote reading in our classroom, the winner of this will be someone who has either read a lot, shown particular perseverance when reading, or someone who has really shone with their reading. 

We will also be using Purple Mash to consolidate learning this half-term, and at times there will be activities set for the children to complete at home, these could be based on their English or Maths learning and will alternate each week. We will continue to utilise Google Classroom for consolidation of learning at home and any missed lessons.

Weekly spellings will also be provided for the children, and whilst time will be given in class to practice, it is our expectation that the children practice these at home as well.
